Year 6 BLOG 6th March 2020
We were so impressed with the behaviour on our trip on Wednesday. The children were engaged and enthusiastic while answering questions at the museum and handling artefacts and loved dressing up in Saxon costumes and recreating the coronation of King Athelstan! We learnt lots of interesting facts from the Historians and made crowns to wear back to school.
It has been lovely to see the children take more ownership of their learning this week. We have been working on reasoning particularly in maths and it seems like most children seem keen to learn and improve in this area. Keep it up, year 6!
As next week is National Science week, we would love for children to bring in an empty, glass jar (with a lid) ready for our Tuesday experiment. Have a good weekend!
