Year 4 BLOG 13th March 2020
Well done to 4C for their class assembly - you looked like you were having fun! 4P really enjoyed it.
This afternoon Year 4 read through the script for the Easter production and sang the songs, which are starting to sound good. We will keep working on it and allocate parts next week.
In Maths we are becoming more and more confident with fractions! We were adding and subtracting fractions with the same denominator and learning about fractions greater than 1.
In English we are writing instruction leaflets on how to look after your pet sea monkey! We looked at the language and content of a rabbit care book to help us. We have been describing the sea monkeys and their behaviour. Next week we will create our leaflets and illustrate them in our art lesson.
We all enjoyed our Science Week workshop (sorry about the slime, parents and carers!) - we learnt about polymers, gravity and other forces.
In Science 4C looked at materials and are observing whether or not they rust. 4P have started learning about the water cycle and danced the water cycle dance!
We finished our Hinduism topic by thinking about all the things we have learnt and what values are important to Hindus.
Have a good weekend!
